The welcome drink offered upon arrival was a nice touch, setting a pleasant tone for the rest of the stay. However, I did find the lack of heating in the room during the chilly March nights to be a bit of a drawback, making the room feel cold and unwelcoming. On the plus side, the electric kettle in the room was convenient for making tea and coffee, and the flat-screen TV provided entertainment during downtime. the hotel's sun terrace and garden area were also lovely spots to relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery. The on-site restaurant and bar/lounge area offered a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices, with the Sunday carvery being a standout meal. the staff were friendly and accommodating, willing to assist with any requests. Overall, while there were some areas for improvement, such as the lack of heating and the strict breakfast policy, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with a good balance of cost and luxury.
